Membership in Redfeather Theatre
The summer of 2008 will mark the third year that Redfeather at Holy Cross has mounted productions of Shakespeare in Worcester's Green Hill Park.
Redfeather contributes to both the cultural vitality and the economic strength of the area. It provides entertainment for our citizens while supporting the local business community. A subsidized summer Shakespeare festival brings people together from all walks of life in order to share a memorable theatrical experience. Exposure to Shakespeare is enriching, particularly for our children, and it is even more valuable for the economically disadvantaged who otherwise would never have the opportunity for such an encounter.
In all corners of America, cities of Worcester’s size support and sustain summer theatres. Our city needs and deserves a first-rate summer Shakespeare festival to help build a true community. For these reasons Redfeather asks for your help to make our continuing Shakespeare festivals smashing successes.
